VALENTIN VODEV MADE GLASS PICTOGRAMS FOR THE TRADITIONAL VIENNESE GLASS MANUFACTURER J&L LOBMEYR (EST. 1823)
28 Sep. -07 Oct. 2012
As part of the “Passionswege - Vienna Design Week 2012” Valentin Vodev developed a system of symbols and pictograms capable of communicating with Lobmeyr glasses. They convey information and appear like a set of instructions or an ironic statement. Engraved on existing glasses, they create a visual appeal that goes beyond the usual interpretation and radically changes the contemporary perception of what a glass is.
